Uncle Vanya – Bubble Waltz is set somewhere around the time of the regime change in Hungary, on a cattle farm where two men compete for the love of a third man’s wife — and one of them doesn’t even realize he’s in a competition.
In this movie I was responsible for the costumes, which meant I had to draw inspiration from the fashion of the early 1990s. As a costume designer, I immersed myself in that era’s world, and it was truly wonderful to collaborate with the entire team.
