Nóra is a Budapest- and Munich-based costume designer with over 20 years of international experience in film, theatre, and advertising. Her work is driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling; she creates costumes that do not simply dress a character, but define their essence.

She holds a Master’s degree from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and also studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where she was a student of Luisa Spinatelli.

Throughout her career, Nóra has collaborated on a wide range of productions, from independent art films to major commercial and period projects. Her work has been recognized with prestigious awards: in 2024, she received the Costume Design Award at the Mozgó Film Festival for her work on Almost a Bride (Majdnem menyasszony), a period film set at the turn of the 20th century. She was also the costume designer of Afterlife (Utóélet), which received the Audience Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

She is known for her ability to merge artistic vision with strong organizational and leadership skills. Beyond design, she often takes full responsibility for managing costume departments, overseeing everything from concept development and budgeting to team building and execution.

Her process includes close coordination with make-up, hair, and mask designers, ensuring a cohesive visual identity down to the smallest detail. Nóra’s approach is defined by sensitivity to historical accuracy, a refined eye for texture and color, and a strong sense of atmosphere—bringing authenticity and emotional depth to every project.
